Anniversary
On friday Nicole and I celebrated our anniversary. Due to this I didn't get to see the Season 3 premiere of Battlestar Galactica but I did drop it onto the DVR for future viewing. We had a good time and ended up going to see "The Departed" followed by dinner at a Peruvian place.
We both thought that "The Departed" was far and away the best movie we've seen this year and if you're thinking of seeing it then you should. The acting by all the actors was superb and this is one of those movies that you have to see on the the big screen to get the full effect of the film.
“Mulligan’s for Mutts” golf tournament
Thursday I had the opportunity to play in the "Mulligan's for Mutts" golf tournament. We (the format was a four-man scramble) played over at StoneTree Golf Club over in Marin county and ended up in 7th place with a score of 70 (-2).
StoneTree is a difficult course and we were happy with our end result. Even better was the fact that approximately $15,000 was raised for the Second Chance Rescue Organization. If you are feeling charitable and have a few extra $$ head over there and make a contribution. They accept checks, cash and PayPal.
Memorial Day Weekend
This past memorial day weekend was fairly busy for us with 6 get togethers over 3 days. On Sunday we headed over to Ted Rheingold's birthday party where I sucked at pin the tail on the donkey.

New Vehicle
Nicole has been disussing getting a new vehicle for some time now so a few weeks ago we went out and looked at several and test drove them as well.
The vehicles looked at included the Acura MDX, the Nissan Murano, the Lexus RX 350, the Lexus RX 400 Hybrid, the Infiniti FX35 and the Land Rover LR3. Now each vehicle was similiar in size and features but each had little issues with them that knocked them out of the running.
In the end she decided to go with the Land Rover LR3. Here are a few pictures.
